Sheriff John Pollack accepts a check of $1,000 from Quincy Firefighter and former Deputy Sheriff, Rick Fillmore.  

Firefighter Fillmore is a member of the Quincy Axes and Irons Assn. of the Quincy Fire Department.

Firefighter Fillmore stated “we wanted to give back the Sheriff’s Office Victim Services Unit not only for all the work that they do for victims of our fires but also for the help and assistance they give our firefighters at our fire scenes.

The Sheriff thanked the Association for the funds pointing out that they will be used to purchase equipment and items used to assist fire victims.
