CITY OF THREE RIVERS: Closeout Public Hearing: Dec. 17

City of Three River issued the following announcement on Dec. 6

Notice of Closeout Public Hearing – for Michigan Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for Landmark Taphouse and Grille Project:  

The City of Three Rivers will conduct a closeout public hearing on December 17, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 333 W. Michigan, Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093 for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to submit comments and receive a final report on the completion of the Landmark Tap House & Grille CDBG grant.

The CDBG grant provided funding to assist in the creation of a newly updated building that will house The Landmark Tap House & Grille at 19, 21, 23 N Main St., Three Rivers, MI 49093 eliminating blight. The Project expensed $346,573.62 CDBG funds, $45,000 public funds and $878,633.10 private funding for a total project cost of $1,270,206.72. The CDBG project benefitted at least 51% low to moderate income persons; NO persons were displaced as a result of the project.

Interested parties are invited to comment on the project in person at the public hearing or in writing through December 16, 2019 and addressed to Melissa Bliss, City Clerk, 333 W. Michigan Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093

Citizen views and comments on the CDBG project are welcome.
