Burr Oak Community School District issued the following announcement on April 07.
I hope everybody is finding some time over this spring break to enjoy each other and the outdoors. Our staff is working on our remote learning plan and we expect to deliver materials to each student's home on either Friday, April 17 or Monday, April 20. (time to be announced at a later date)
Please take note of the following as it applies to each grade:
Seniors: Please visit Google Classroom SOON for instructions that tell you how to complete your senior year. We would like to get seniors wrapped up as quickly as possible.
PK-4: Materials with instructions will be delivered to your homes in paper form.
Grades 5-8: You will carry on similar to what you have been doing. If you chose paper/pencil before then you will continue with paper/pencil unless you contact your teacher and let them know you can do online as well.
Grades 9-11: You will carry on similar to what you have been doing. Google Classroom will be the main platform for communication. If paper and pencil work is required, please contact your teachers.
If you have any questions about anything please contact us. Phone calls to a school number will automatically transfer to Mrs. Gates who can forward them to the appropriate staff. You can also ask questions via Facebook Messenger.
Remote learning will resume on April 20, 2020. We will do our best to accommodate each family’s situation.
