Coldwater Michigan City Offices issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.
UPDATE: Restoration is underway. Our team estimates that power should be restored sometime between 9 PM and 10 PM.
POWER OUTAGE: The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities is working hard to repair the issue that has caused power outages for a large number of Coldwater residents.
The power is expected to be restored by 8:00 PM. Crews have been dispatched to one of the CBPU's substations, where the issue is originating from, and repairs are commencing. Customers will be alerted to the cause of the outage as soon as possible.
