Coldwater Michigan City Offices issued the following announcement on Nov. 6.

The City of Coldwater and Board of Public Utilities offices (Henry L. Brown Municipal Building) and the Robert W. Browne Recreation Center will be closed to the public beginning Monday, November 9, 2020, until further notice due to concerns and recommendations regarding the recent surge of COVID-19 in Branch County. Although the offices are closed to the public, they are fully operational during this time. The change aims to help safeguard employees who work in essential city operations and utility services - and intends to protect the general public, as well.

“If you have something you usually visit City Hall to do, such as meeting with the City Clerk or applying for a permit, we ask that you do so online or over the phone. We appreciate our resident’s patience and understanding as we transition back into this closure.” – City Manager, Keith Baker.
