For students whose gender does not conform to their sex assigned at birth, entering student housing can be a stressful and scary experience due to concerns about being accepted by their future roommates. At Baker College, students may choose to opt-in to gender-inclusive housing when they complete their student housing forms, ensuring that every student has the ability to pick the assignment that would make them the most comfortable with their living arrangements.
