Marks the last day of a 27-year career in law enforcement for a very valued member of the Sheriff’s Office

Marks the last day of a 27-year career in law enforcement for a very valued member of the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Steve McManamey started his career as a Reserve, he served in Corrections, on the Road as a Road Officer, in the Courts as Court Transport and Court Security.  Steve was a long-time member of the Dive team and a very effective K-9 handler.  He and his constant partner Dunna were often called by other agencies needing additional help.

Deputy McManamey will always be remembered for his desire to serve the citizens of Branch County, his compassion with victims and his professionalism with those who found themselves in his custody.

Deputy McManamey you will be missed, we thank you for your service and we thank you for all you’ve done for the Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of Branch County.
