On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Centreville High School standout Matthew Lorencz’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the St. Mary's Rattlers.

The game took place at Dickson Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Rattlers this season.

The Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Dickson Stadium against St. Mary's Rattlers.
