On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Centreville High School standout Faith Edwards’ current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lewis Flyers.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Flyers this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 9:15 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Franklin Pierce Ravens.
