On Saturday, March 1, former Centreville High School standout Matthew Lorencz’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, won 13-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.

The game took place at Rawlings Field. This was their second matchup against the ThunderWolves this season.

The Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 5 p.m. at Hays Field and City Bank Clubhouse against Angelo State Rams.
