On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Centreville High School standout Matthew Lorencz’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, won 16-10 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Sul Ross State Lobos.

The game took place at Kokernot Field. This was their third matchup against the Lobos this season.

The Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. at Kokernot Field against Sul Ross State Lobos.
