Senator Jonathan Lindsey of Coldwater, Michigan, has been acknowledged for his conservative voting record in the state Senate for 2024. The recognition comes from MIRS, a Capitol news outlet that evaluated 50 key votes to determine Lindsey's conservative stance. According to MIRS, Lindsey voted in line with conservative positions 98% of the time.
"I do my best to vote for liberty and against the behemoth of government," stated Lindsey. This statement was also highlighted by MIRS as their "quote of the day."
Lindsey expressed his intentions for the coming year: "I look forward to continuing to advocate for policies that help the people of Michigan in 2025. I will fight for free market solutions to our economic woes, defend the rights of every citizen, and push back against out-of-control government."
