Each student was asked to raise $100 to qualify for the event. Attendees participated in Zumba, played games, danced and watched videos of St. Jude patients and families to remind them of the reason they were staying up.

Racers raised money from the fall semester to the beginning of the spring semester with a golf tournament, table setups, rallies, rebate nights and donation boards.

Kelsey Hatley, executive director of the program and a senior majoring in logistics and supply chain management from Franklin, Tennessee, said Up ‘til Dawn gave students a chance to be a part of something meaningful.

“At Up ‘til Dawn, we raised $50,572, and we still aren’t done yet,” Hatley said. “We had an amazing night. Everyone had a fun time, and we look forward to doing the event next year and hopefully raise another $50,000 for the children of St. Jude
