City of Sturgis issued the following announcement June 30.
The City of Sturgis Recreation Department is postponing their Summer Adventure Club and Youth Tennis programs until July 13th. This action is being taken in response to direction by the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph County Community Health Agency (BHSJ Community Health Agency) for staff members of these programs to self-quarantine. Summer Adventure Club had an attendee that had close contact to a person with a positive test result for COVID-19. Youth Tennis had an attendee that tested positive for COVID-19.
The City of Sturgis is working closely with the BHSJ Community Health Agency to provide necessary data and comply with any requirements. Any families impacted are asked to monitor themselves and are encouraged to get tested if experiencing any symptoms.
