City of Sturgis issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
The City of Sturgis is seeking applications for a vacancy as one of the two City representatives on the Sturgis District Library Board. The City Commission hopes to fill the vacancy soon so please submit your completed application by Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Once completed, applications can be mailed to the City Clerk’s Office, 130 N. Nottawa, Sturgis, MI 49091, dropped in the Treasurer’s drop box at City Hall, or emailed to krhodes@sturgismi.gov.
We are also accepting applications for all City boards. Currently, there are vacancies on the Parks & Cemetery Board and the Board of Review (for City residents only), as well as the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts Board and the Sister City Committee (for all area residents).
