City of Sturgis issued the following announcement on Dec. 9.
The City of Sturgis will be hosting an Open House presentation on the evening of Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm to better inform the public of the upcoming transmission line project north of town. The attached map provides information on the project scope and preferred route. The presentation can be viewed on YouTube on the 16th here: https://youtu.be/G9EA1_dE6zo or residents can call-in to the presentation at 1-(312)-626-6799 with a meeting code of 856 2946 3459.
Residents with questions, concerns or feedback regarding the project can send them to the City's contractor, Contract Land Staff via phone (269-659-6006), email (ElectricReliability@sturgismi.gov) or mail (Sturgis Transmission Reliability Project, 130 N. Nottawa Street, Sturgis, MI 49091). Residents are asked to submit comments at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting so that they may be addressed during the presentation.
