City of Sturgis issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.
Starting Monday, October 11th, M-66/N. Nottawa St. will be closed at the railroad tracks for repair work. No traffic will able to cross the closure area.
Crews anticipate the closure to last the entire week, pending weather and contractor progress.
Residents are encouraged to find alternate routes to their planned destination. A formal signed detour route will be in place which will re-route traffic around the closure using N. Centerville Rd., W. Lafayette St., N. Clay St., and Memorial Drive.
