Village of Quincy issued the following annoucement on Oct. 13.
On October 19th through October 22nd, we will be flushing dead end hydrants throughout the Village.
During this time, you may see some discoloration in the water, and we suggest that you run the water until it is clear. We also would like to suggest that you run a washing machine cycle without any clothes in the washer to ensure that your clothes are not discolored. We appreciate your patience during this time.
