The City of Bronson seeks a full-time laborer for the Department of Public Works. Position maintains City roads, parks, cemetery, sewer and water infrastructure, plows snow, leaf collection, lawn mowing and other general maintenance tasks. Applicant must be able to perform several physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting, climbing, outdoor work in all weather conditions and working on or near road ways. Must possess a valid State of Michigan CDL-B license with air brake endorsement or be able to obtain one within 6 months.
Pay range is $20-$23 per hour depending on qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with water or sewing licensing with the State of Michigan along with higher starting compensation.
