State Senator Jonathan Lindsey commended President Donald Trump on Tuesday for what he described as "historic" achievements during the first 100 days of Trump's presidency. Lindsey, a Republican representing Coldwater, highlighted Trump's focus on "America First" policies and the progress made since his inauguration.

"Since his inauguration, President Trump has prioritized strong America First policy victories. He has fought to rebuild the American economy, secure the border and make America healthy again," Lindsey stated. Emphasizing the administration's efforts, he added, "President Trump has worked tirelessly to revive the American Dream after a disastrous four years under Joe Biden." Lindsey noted that Trump has been prolific in issuing executive orders and has actively engaged with the media, setting him apart from previous presidents.

Lindsey pointed out several of Trump's initiatives, particularly those that have had an impact on Michigan. "After decisively carrying Michigan in the 2024 election, President Trump has promoted policies that will improve the lives of Michiganders," he said. Lindsey underscored the president's middle-class agenda and Trump's decision to celebrate his 100th day in office in Michigan as a symbol of his commitment to the state's importance.
